Communication

Communication plays a very big role in all kinds of relationships, be it friendship, kinship or love relationship.

Sometimes I wonder why they just cannot sit down and talk in a nice way. One tries to explain, the other tries to defend his own words. End up both cannot see eye to eye and no one is willing to compromise. At times, I also wonder if my brother knows what is compromising and accomodating. I know Dad has his difficulties and I am well aware of all these since I have been helping him in the preparation of those documents and stuff. But my brother doesn't see it that way. I know they have differences in thinking and each of them have certain issue which they are concerned with but all in all, it boils down to the same thing, if they look at the bigger picture.

Sighs, I can try to 安抚 one side but I am unable to 安抚 the other. Its like the meat in that sandwich. I know how both of them think and I can communicate with them both but I dunno how to let them both see things eye to eye. Hopefully my brother's friend can do a better job in getting both of them to see the light and resolve the issue asap.

And at such times, I have this bad thought. Do things always go the wrong way one after another when one is going through a rough patch? From the way things are, I really feel so. Sighs.

Friends' Concern

This morning when I was on the way to interview, I received a sms from Chun. Even though it's just a simple sms, it kind of brighten my day. The reason is because he heard from Perfect about the misfortunes I faced during work and he messaged to encourage me.

Here goes the sms: "Yoyo morning ah su! Heard about ur unfortunate events but dun worry coz pain is temporary, pride is forever! Jia you!"

It may not be something of a big deal but to me, a friend's concern is worth more than any monetary value. Therefore, I am thankful to have you guys, standing by me when I am going through a rough time now. A heartfelt thanks especially to the following =) :

*Jing Ying
- for showering me with your care and concern over the sms-es.

*GCC
- for listening to my grumblings when I have a bad time at work and be there for me when the times are tough.

*Milo
- for telling me that it's finally a burden off and that I should look forward.

*Perfect and Chun
- for the many encouragements that you guys have given me.

*Lena
- for your concern and telling me that if in need, can always look for you.

*Joleen
- for being my partner in job hunt! and of course, your encouragement that I should put the unhappy stuff behind and move on.

*Zann
- for giving me all the tips for the interviews and the various things I need to look out for.

This is the first time I am feeling lost upon working since graduation. There are times when I begin to wonder what I want to do and why did i make certain decisions. Oh wells, I may not be as strong as some may think and you guys definitely play a big role in encouraging me! I will be very very very proactive and hopefully can see the light soon! =)

End of Another Short Chapter of My Life

Today marks the end of this short 2 months chapter in my life (rather, my career life).

I tendered the resignation after thinking over the past 1 week when I am on sick leave. Have decided to end it off since it is causing me so much misery. I hope I am really moving on for the better. I have to be very, very, very proactive from today onwards. I can't afford to take any breaks though it will be good if I can have one. I have arranged for more upcoming interviews this week. I hope something good will come out of it. I am not expecting that I can get a job by the end of this week, I am just hoping that someone will keep calling me for interview and more interviews (be it first or 2nd interview).

My decision has definitely stunned most of you, and that includes my parents. I have been telling them that I am toying with the idea of tendering my resignation but have nvr put it to action. Mum was stunned when I called her just nw and told her that today is my last day.

As much as they have agreed today is my last day, I am still rather worried as there are no written documents to show that they have agreed to it, even though we talked about it. Yup, this is becoz I actually need to give a 2 weeks' written notice but becoz I was absent since last week due to medical, they have decided to use that to offset the 2 weeks' notice and let me go off earlier on the account that there are no outstanding projects with me. Just keeping my fingers crossed ba.

Now really must pray hard hard that I can get a job asap, at least by the end of October. Hopefully God will bless me this time round.

JO: Genting then

GCC: U sure abt Genting? U need to take a boatride to Genting too. It takes about an hour plus for the boat ride and its sampan kind.. for Kukup, it takes about 2hrs..

KTV Time with Family =D

I have a happening Aunt Kym who asked me to book the KTV room at the Community Centre right after our singing session last Sunday and even said want to have a bbq etc.

I must say the the experience at the C.C "wowed" me. When we hear "C.C", the first thing that crossed my cousins and my mind was.... "must be all the oldies". But it turned out otherwise! Besides having new songs, the pricing is damn good lar! So next time if we want to go singing, can I suggest that we be neighbourhood aunties and uncles? =p Its a cheap deal lor! $33 for 3hrs of singing and there's a total of 9 pax. Haha. Anw, I did enjoy myself. But sometimes I hope they will stop asking me to sing hokkien song with my half bucket of pail hokkien. So i trained my "successor" - XH and Justin ^ ^ So u guys better get ready for the session next Saturday.

And yes, I am going again next Saturday. Lol. Alright. Till then again.
